Object: Notecard with mantra

Meaning Behind the Object:

One night, while Mones-Poblano was doom scrolling on her phone, she came across a mantra that “has been the foundation of what kept me going,” she said. Her notecard reads, “Everything will be so good so soon. Just hang in there and don’t worry about it too much.” Mones-Poblano said that this mantra means so much to her because it reminds her to be hopeful of the future.

As she pursues a passion in social service, the notecard will continue to serve as a positive nudge that “things will continue to change. My circumstances are not permanent, and I will keep pushing through.”
