Meaning Behind the Object: As someone who wants to go to law school, a copy of the United States Constitution will come in handy. Thankfully for Rosario, she was gifted one by Howard D. Polsky ’73 before graduating. She received an email from the political science department noting there was a gift for her. When she arrived, an extended edition of the U.S. Constitution was waiting for her with a note from Polsky congratulating her on her graduation from Lehigh as a political science major and becoming a future leader in preserving American democracy and law. Also important to Rosario is her Iacocca journal from when she studied abroad. The weekly entries included photos, feelings and new experiences that she can now look back at and reflect upon the moments she had throughout her internship. She said it’s a nice reminder of the time she spent abroad in Moldova and the opportunities she received. Rosario also cherishes the sunglasses she obtained during that experience, buying them at a market in Moldova after forgetting to pack a pair for herself.
