Jaye Bates is a senior Journalism major and Marketing minor. She also is an intern for the Lehigh University Communications and Public Affairs office in the Web & New Media department for the Fall 2023 semester. Jaye is from Long Island, New York and has been an active member of the Lehigh student publication the Brown and White during her time as a Mountain Hawk, serving as Associate Audience Editor and Deputy Editor for the Sports section, in addition to being a reporter.
At Lehigh, she has been involved in the Lehigh community through her sorority, Alpha Omicron Pi, in which she served as Vice President of Programming & Enrichment and Panhellenic Relations Coordinator. She has held a Work Study position in the Intramural Sports office since she was a first year. She will graduate from the College of Arts & Sciences in May 2024.
