Meaning Behind the Object: Of all the graduates featured, Jeffrey’s main item was the largest. As a chemical engineering major, her first item was the lab and the other is one that’s found in it, a pipette. Jeffrey said spending as much time as she has in the lab with Angela Brown, associate professor of chemical and biomolecular engineering, it’s incredibly meaningful to her and is a major reason she’s able to move on to her next step: earning her Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Rhode Island.
